Last week @equinox asked how I make my life like a work of art ~ for me it's meditation. Meditation allows me the clarity of mind to stay in the present moment, appreciate the beauty around me, and stay in a space of gratitude. . . Real talk: I'm prone to be a but blue, by disposition. I've suffered from depression, and having a condition (#eds) that causes chronic pain exacerbations that problem. I've tried many things over the years, and meditation is one of the most consistent ways to keep my mood even and my head clear. ( 👀 my story for daily tips and meditation reminders) . . Sometimes you just need a change in perspective 🤔 . . . I haven't posted much the last few months as I underwent some huge personal transformations. Some days have been a struggle; other days the progress has been obvious. Through it all my meditation and self care have let me see my own resiliency. They've taught me to look beyond my flitting thoughts to my deeper self and work to my real truths. They've also shown me that much of life is what I do with it and how I interpret what's happening around me. . . .
