If feminist is about equal expectation for everyone and women not being afraid or thought of as ‘less than’ or ‘other’, and if you can train to improve strength, isn’t strength training in itself an expression of feminism? If your goal is true independence and a life without fear, the ability to move and own your body confidently in a space is one vehicle to get there.

#selfcaresunday - and I'm asking "what's your self care about?"⠀ 😌⠀ This quote from Benjamin Franklin hit home for me. "When the well's dry we know the worth of water." So often our conversations about self care take on 2 angles:⠀ ☝️ They're about singular actions⠀ ✌ They're reactive⠀ .⠀ But I believe #selfcare is about recognizing your human needs and then creating systems to keep them met. This keeps the well from ever going dry.⠀ .⠀ How do you approach your self care? What daily and weekly rituals keep your well full and the water flowing?
When I try to estimate how awesome this year is going to get... 🤣 . Idk about you... but when I start looking for problems I find more problems... when I start looking for solutions is when I find even more amazing things we're all capable of.
"My passion is inspiring other people to take really good care of themselves; because I believe that when we care for ourselves we're able to live our purpose fully. Which is also my purpose." (🔊 on) .⠀ .⠀ A little snippet of the intro to today's webinar on #selfcare. Over the next few weeks I'm going to dive deep into self care, sharing my insights. For me, everything I do comes from the wellspring of my purpose, as stated above. Do you have a purpose at this moment in you life? (personally, I believe they evolve) Share that purpose in le comments 👇 because I definitely want to hear it!⠀ . . Shout out to @kellylynn218 for showing up for me (she always does) .⠀ .⠀ #selflove #selfcareisselflove #levelup #webinar #purpose #meaning #positivepsychology #mapp #penn #universityofpennsylvania #insight #amianexpert #somanycerts #passion #insipration #lyl #liveyourlife #spoonie
Oh hey there Monday. I see you creeping up on me. Let's see what you and this week have got 😏 . . I feel strongly that if Monday comes and you're miserable, then something is off. Just because something is "normal" that doesn't mean it's right for you. Are you hating Monday? Or are you flirting with the next 7 days? 👇 . . #mondaymotivation #mondayvibes #getafterit #gtd #thoughtoftheday #onelifeliveit #onelife #curlygirl #curlyhair
