Life is for living.  The only person who can live your life is you.

-Eleanor Roosevelt

It’s not uncommon for me to get a little down in July.  My partner is off doing summer stock, there’s a 70% chance I’ve got a sunburn, and I find myself reflecting on the first 6 months of the year.  During this years sulky period I’ve been reading a biography on Eleanor Roosevelt and doing my best to absorb her spirit; this particular gem of wisdom has been stuck in my craw a bit.  True, it’s a bit of a platitude; but as I’m sitting on the subway contemplating if things are getting off track it’s continuing to ring for me.
