Thursday was the kind of day that could only be saved by a visit to a pub. Specifically, an Irish pub to be my Something New. We ended up heading to Felia (pronounced fey-la) on 33rd and the harshness of the afternoon was resolved with beer and delicious foods.
One of my favorite foods when I lived in New Haven were the Irish Nachos at Sullivan’s and I miss them regularly, so it was a great boon to my mood when I discovered that the loaded chips at Felia were their version of the same: fresh cut fries smothered in cheesy goodness and sour cream… except at Felia they add BACON (and, as we all know, bacon is a food group of its own).
I’ll be going back.
